| What
boomerangs are for?
Aboriginal boomerangs are great sports items and very special housewarming gifts. They carry spirit and culture of oldest living civilization on Earth. Just imagine, 40'000 years of history, experience and traditions are embodied in this beautiful article on your wall! How boomerangs are made All boomerangs in our shop are hand crafted and painted in Australia. They made from selected Australian native timbers - brigalow, mulga, wattle and red gum trees. The drawings depict religious and traditional symbols of Aboriginal culture. There were different types of boomerangs but all of them were used for hunting and in ceremonies when two boomerangs were clapped together to make a musical beat. |
